Bin collection day in Tasmania
Tasmania does not publish one collection calendar for the whole state. Kerbside rubbish, recycling and FOGO are council services, and the week, the fee and whether FOGO is opt-in all change at the council boundary.
Bin Stickers Australia is an independent sticker supplier. We are not a council or government waste service. Confirm collection days, missed bins and replacement bins on your council's official website.
Lid colours we can cite

- Yellow — Recycling in Launceston
- Green — FOGO in Launceston
What the official pages say
The City of Launceston publishes a red-lid general-waste bin collected weekly, a yellow-lid recycling bin collected fortnightly, and a green-lid FOGO bin collected fortnightly. FOGO needs registration and is not part of the CBD opt-in service.
That timetable is Launceston’s. The City of Hobart, for example, lets households opt in to FOGO and choose a weekly or fortnightly collection. Do not copy one council’s week onto another.
Search your council name plus “kerbside collection” and use the page on the council’s own website for the map or calendar.

A sticker does not change the collection week. If you are labelling the bin, see where to put the sticker and how collection days work.
